The Internet High School was founded in 1996 with the goal of eliminating time, distance, and location as factors in the delivery of quality education.  Using the vast array of online text, graphics, audio, and video, IHS educators delivered conventional high school classes statewide via the Internet.

In 2000, the Internet High School, Inc. changed its name to the Internet Schools, Inc. and ceased delivery of online instruction.  Utilizing the experience gained as online educators, the Internet Schools began developing the capabilities to make every conventional classroom and school office Internet accessible.  In 2002, this goal is on the verge of becoming a reality as the Internet Schools offer conventional schools the opportunity to go online with their eClassrooms and eOffices.
